    Greetings

First post! (what do I win?)

    Anyway...

Hullo, all, I'm Jessica Chavez. I'm an editor at XSEED Games and was personally responsible for insinuating that the Knight in Half-Minute Hero did something inappropriate with a duck. I have worked on many of the titles you will be dissecting on these boards, most recently The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Be gentle.

Hi Jessica Chavez! It's a pleasure to meet you! My name is Horatio B. Wunderkind, and I work as an ash salesman in New Guinea. You wouldn't think people would want to buy ash -- but they do!

...Actually, I'm Tom Lipschultz, Jess' cohort. I, too, work in localization at XSEED Games, and should you encounter any lines of text that make you groan horribly (in our Falcom titles, anyway), I'm probably the man to blame.

I guess that should do it for now, but remember... keep watching the skis!

    -Tom

Ken with XSEED Games here. I tend to be the voice of reason as when Tom and/or Jess bring up crazy ideas like their desire to localize Doki Doki Majo Shinpan or the latest Hatsune Miku game, I have to play the evil bean counter and tell them it's not fiscally responsible. After their usual response of "But it will be so worth it, imagine all the street cred we'll get with gamers!", I have to go into an hour and a half explanation on the basics of economics and how money that comes in has to be more than the money that goes out, only to be greeted by a blank stare until I say, "Publish game = lose job." Needless to say, this is the only language they understand.

Tough balancing what we want to do with what we can do in order to continue to exist as a company, but someone's got to be the "evil" voice of reason.

Hi I'm Jimmy, and I'm an alco... oops wrong gathering.
Anyhow, other than the media relations and random reports I have to create, I usually enjoy watching Jess and Tom go wild while Ken and Kenji try to tame these bea...utiful minded people. It's one of those things that i wish I have a beer for the great entertainment.

Hi I'm Kenji and I'm the Drinking Manager/Localization Manager at XSEED Games.
I'm also referred to as the Slave Driver as I crack the whip on my localization minions and make them work weekends as well as national holidays.
The word "vacation" is a myth here at XSEED Games.

Hi all, this is Christine Nakashima. I'm the Product Coordinator at XSEED.
For those of you who read the credits in the back of our owner's manuals, you may have noticed that I began my career at XSEED as a Localization Specialist. What prompted the switch to the Sales/Marketing/PR team, you ask? Well, it didn't take me long to realize that our Localization team was craz... crazy awesome, but uh, the Sales/Marketing/PR team needed an extra hand.

I'm involved in the manufacturing of our games (ordering discs, cases, limited edition goodies, etc), making sure finished goods ship out in time for launch (despite what retailers say they do ship in a timely fashion), creating trailers (lifting the curse off our media room Mac that freezes at whim), etc, etc, etc...

I'm a strong believer in dark chocolates' ability to remedy all evil (expect that which possesses the media room).

So I guess I'm the first non-XSeed person to post in this thread? Well hey.

I'm Andrew Dice of Carpe Fulgur LLC (aka the sort-of competition). I've been playing and loving the Ys and Trails releases XSEED has put on the PSP, and I'm really looking forward to what's coming next. (And hey, if you guys need help with SC or Origin or something, yo~)

And this makes me the first non-XSEED, non-game company related person posting.

Call me Kari. I'm a gamer and web designer. I've only played one XSEED translated game (Lunar: SSH) so far, but I'm a big fan of JRPGs and games in general.

This makes me the second after my friend Kari here.

I'm Rarutos! Just an average student/video gamer person. I've played Fragile and Ys Seven very recently, and I love XSEED and their great localizations! I also own a bunch of other games of their's that I have yet to dive into. And I look forward to seeing more from them! Huge JRPG fan as well. Favorite Japanese producer would probably be GUST.

EDIT: Curses, not second after Kari.
