FarCry 3 is one of the best games I have played in my entire life. I pretty much played it non-stop until I finished the main story and most of the side missions. You should definitely pick it up. Every time my brother comes over, he asks me if he can play FarCry 3 )))))

Seeds of doubt get planted as the secrets of Hinamizawa become exposed. Fear creeps in when you realise that not everything is as it would seem at a first glance. A wall of lies come crashing down and you start to question whether this is real or if it's just happening in your head. At it's hearts, Higurashi is psychological thriller that questions your very sanity. The horror elements come once you have abandoned all hope and there is nothing to be done but accept your fate. I hope this is enough to get you pumped up and ready to experience fear itself
First thing first: forget about the manga and anime. There are way too commercial. Higurashi is something that has to be enjoyed in its original, raw format. The distinct and crude artwork has a certain way of creating a visceral world that is best portrayed in the actual source material. Although I had played other Visual novels, Higurashi was the first one that grabbed hold of me from the very first line of dialogue. The story is divided into self-contained episodes that reveal different sides of the characters and their motivations. Every episode starts off like any other slice of life adaptation out there: with the main character waking up and attending morning classes. Life simply goes on and enjoyable moments are always plentiful; however, just as daylight must give way to darkness, so does our fairy-tale.
Say, what kind of "horror" is in Higurashi? From what I can see from the manga and anime, it's not your typical "ghost" Horror. Non-spoilers plz. (Talking about the VN here)
