Yea the endings are pretty short and barebones. The story is kinda a mess though I liked some things about it. Yuri boss is certainly the strongest and also hard because it doesn't let you use her.

If you feel up for a challenge doing a newgame+ hard mode file is pretty great. It's balanced for newgame+ so if you went into hard mode raw it would be nearly impossible. It gets pretty intense. There's also a +50 atk sword you can only get on newgame+. In general though newgame+ is just for hard mode or if you didn't keep a save at 6-4 and want to see the other endings.

There is a choice after you beat the last battle of chapter 6, its very obvious. keep a save at 6-4 since the choice is after that. Pick first choice for ending 1. For ending 2 & 3 pick choice 2. If you pick choice 2 the branch is at battle 7-2. Defeat the boss for end 3, capture base for end 2
