Hi there! I've been stuck for TOO LONG, like 3 hours running wild in that shrine. I've talked to everyone in the Roo form, got cursed by the ennemy, now I know I have to find the silver pendant. But I can't find it ANYWHERE! I've already beat the spider boss (too early it seems) since I need the pandant to go on...

I read a faq, tried to find a video faq since the shrine is such a maze, but either way I couldn't find it.

They say in Fact Sector, but even after running around 3 hour long I didn't even saw this sector.

*about to trash my PSP*

No replies? Bah...

Fact's sector is east of the entrance, then north of that, past the gate. You have to talk to the guard in Roo form, I believe, to get through.

Beyond that, I don't recall where it is exactly -- only that it shouldn't be THAT hard to find. You've explored the Subterranean Canal as well, no?

as I already said to you it's always strange to see someone blocked somewhere in an ys game :o
ys 1 and 2 looks hard :o

Have you got the pass yet, conurebleu? Also, remember to keep in touch with Mission Control using that magic shell, as the old man provides a hint of what to do next usually, in addition to talking to the monsters.

I talked to every monster, got the pass and used that shell a lot ;) And I've been in the Subterrean canal, the only place I couldn't get is the Hydra door, which I think to be the flood room right? Then I need the pendant to go to the statue after Druelgar to get in touch with Keith who'll give me the floodkey :P

Really, only the Silver pendant missing XD

Thanks Wyrd! I'll write this down and try this on the bus in a few minutes, 3 hours of frustration was worth it (level 42 XD)

Yep ! I think finding the sword IS the next stuck, it must be under a no-more-flooded place

the advantage when you are stuck on a rpg is the level farming during this time , did you leveled a lot ?

for an ys it's more than the half if I remember because out of ys 7 you can reach max to level 60 ! almost finish !

Great, a first game that I'll do high level >< Last time I did that was in FF1, I was level 20 before the second town. I owned the game. Otherwise I play low level and low item (or no item)

I remember getting stuck at around the same place you did. I had gone everywhere in the Shrine multiple times, but for some reason I could not find what I was looking for. Finally I looked up what to do online and found out that the thing I was looking for was in a room I had been in at least two or three times, and I thought "How the hell did I not find that before?" It was frustrating, but I gained a ton of levels in the process. :p

The irony is that I've been there! I jsut didn't press select to show where I am, so i didn't know it was fact's sector. I just didn'T remember that there was a locked door over there.

40 minutes later, still haven't find the sword. I think I know where it is...as for gettinf there that's another story...

Talking to monsters? Phooey. I preferred running through them :D Only talked to them when I had to!

Best part about being lost in Solomon Shrine is you get to listen to the awesome music for so long (one of my favorite tracks from the game). And level up a whole lot.

I did get stuck at one point but I forgot which it was. I think it was when I had to go to the northeast sector, couldn't figure out how to get there for a while.

And unfortunately I don't remember where the items were... so I can't really help much without just looking it up.

I used to really hate the Solomon Shrine. I still think it could have been better designed so everything doesn't look the same, even though I enjoy that area nowadays. When I played the TG-16 version, I got lost so badly and I wasn't very good at following maps that well back then.

As for that sword conurebleu, are you looking for the Cleria sword now?

The Battle Sword, which I suppose is at the bottom of the subterrean canal with fire-spitting enemies, but I do not know how to get there. I tried from East wing and from the hideout.

I don't remember it precisely from my two playthroughs, but according to Sethan's walkthrough on gamefaqs, "Under the East Wing, you can find the [Battle Sword] in a hidden chamber in the extreme south-west."

I know that XD I still can'T find it that way. I can'T find the way to get there.

Seriously..it took me 7h00 to get to solomon shrine, and now I've been stuck 4h00 in there! So i'm at 11h00 hour the THIRD IS BEING STUCK! !!

Edit : I finished the game, i didn'T find any Clercia Shield

You get the cleria shield from one of the two guys that burst in the room with the godesses that were sealed by magic. It was the guy on the left I think.

You can still load up the fight against the final boss and talk to Luta Gemma (was that one of the guys who came to the rescue?). I don't remember if I missed out on that shield my first time through... probably not, but I can see why it would be missable.
