I haven't played a fishing game since i was a little boy back on the super nintendo, then growing up with a ps1 2 and 3 the fishing games all....they bad:rolleyes:. Anyway I got a wii last year after the new Donkey Kong was announced and picked up a handful of games since then for it. NSMB The Mario Galaxys Goldeneye NBA Jam....all great games, but once i beat them its easy for them to collect dust:( especilly waiting on the new Zelda....then i found out about this game last week and i honestly want it as Much as I do Arkham City and Skyward Sword:cool:

Then by the gaming gods, you shall have it! :D

Hurray for Fishing Resort! If you like what you see in the trailer and you've seen the demo on GameSpot to check out the gameplay, then I think I can say with confidence that you will love this game. It really is quality and fun, so it's a shame to see so many people dismissing it outright just because it's a Wii title. Hope you'll post your impressions after it's released and convince any non-believers!

Woah this topic freaked me out for a second. I was thinking, when did I make this topic lol. But yeah Fishing Resort does look pretty cool, and I never thought I'd ever say something like that about a fishing game.

OH NOO BOX LADY HELP my gaming gods have forsaken me v_v, i asked on twitter the other day if this game would be hard to find in stores since I don't have a debit/credit/whatever card to order online so I buy my games at walmarts and gamestops.

I stopped by gamestop today and asked to place a preorder and they didn't have any data for the game, its not on thier most up-to-date new game list and theres no Fishing Resort page on Gamestops website ehhh i'm worried now

Well I'm not "box lady" lol, but I can tell you Gamestop can be pretty last minute on adding some titles in on their computers. A couple of weeks before a game comes out, I've heard, in some cases. I'm sure they'll have it available sometime in early September for pre-order.

If you want to pre-order online, you can always look into getting one of those pre-paid Visa/Mastercards they sell in grocery stores and gas stations. I think they charge you extra for buying one though. Like 7.95ish or something. So a $50 card would cost you like 57.95 for example.

I'd just wait though because I'm sure GS will let you pre-order soon.

I've looked into prepaid credit cards before when i was wanting to buy a complete tv series on dvd off amazon and like the cars seemed sorta scamish to me, You had to keep X amount in the account plus there was a fee to use it plus a fee to check how much is on it plus a fee to add to it plus you had to use it like every month or it would be terminated, so I was like DANG FORGET THIS. (i ended up getting my complete series at a Barnes&Noble :) )

I hope so, shows my luck though i never preorder then the one day i try to theres no info
