Is this game region-locked for the DSi and 3DS?

I know that DS Phat/Lite units are able to play games regardless of region, but what about the DSi and 3DS?

It's a DS game so no it's not region locked.

For the original DS only DSi games were region locked.

The game makes use of a DSi feature which makes it a DSi enhanced title. That usually means it's region locked on the DSi/3DS. It will still play on any DS-lite or original DS from around the world.

I have the Japanese version and can confirm it doesn't work on my US DSi, but I can play it on my DS-lite.

It's region locked. In friday I bought a European copy of Solatorobo and it didn't work on my 3DS. Only works in a NDS and NDS lite
