Just curious to see if anyone enjoys fishing or has ever even gone fishing in real life. I think I went once or twice when I was a kid, but never caught a single thing after many hours of sitting in a boat with my uncle. Didn't really interest me then, but my love for the Harvest Moon series led me to the Legend of the River King games and I remember having a blast with those on many family road trips. Those are pretty much my only "fishing" experiences, if you don't count going to aquariums and trying to reach in the tanks to catch fish and tiny sharks. :D

I've gone fishing a couple of times as a kid.

I have the attention span of a rodent, though, so I hated it every time. :< It's amazing I can spend an hour trying to get the Gold Scale in OoT before giving up in frustration if I can't manage to get it for whatever reason.

I went fishing with my great-grandfather once when I was a child. All I remember is the removal of a hook from a captured fish. It looked very painful.

I would love to start angling as a hobby, but I have no clue where to even start.

I LOVE fishing. I haven't gotten to properly go in years, but I've been stream fishing, lake fishing, deep sea fishing, etc. My idea of a perfect day involves fishing (alongside camping, hiking, bonfires and cold beer) somewhere. :)
