I still have my Chipped PS1 and my PS2 I bought one year before. Currently, I am playing more on the PS2, since I really need to catch up some games that I did not play in the early years. Right now I am playing MGS 2 and 3 and Gran Turismo 4. Hopefully I can chip my PS2 soon enough, since my Melty Blood Actress Again LE wants to be played too :)
As for my PS1, I just imported all Armored Core Games and Wipeout Games, going to play them as well :)

I don't play them too much (except the PS2 which has been seeing regular use for over a year now) but i keep them because there are still games i'ld like to get for them one day and even then, i still plan to get them out someday again to replay certain classics.

My poor PS2 hasn't seen much use since I misplaced the memory cards due to an emergency move. Since then, I haven't felt like resuming the playthoughs and LPs I was in the middle of recording.

I still play a bit on my Gamecube (Pikmin, Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest) and also have my N64 in place.

Though of late, I've been playing a SNES game (Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War) almost daily on an emulator.

Being a fairly new collector in the past few years, there's plenty of games I missed playing from when they came out, but I've been buying alot of older games recently. It's all about what I feel like playing at the time. Sometime I'll be on DS, PSP, PS3 etc. others, PS2, PS1 etc.

My Super Nintendo and PS2 are my babies, so I play them quite a lot.

My PS2 and Dreamcast mostly, and only for games that haven't been ported on any of the newer consoles.

Though, whenever I end up playing PSOne games, I'll pop them into my PS3, or fire up GC games on the Wii. It's just more convenient, and saves space.

I still do. I mean I'm constantly playing old school NEs and N64 games but I kept my ps2 because my ps3 can't play them so I'm always re-playing some of my favorites on there. : D (like FF X, Star Ocean Till the End of Time, and Wild Arms 3)

I always use my PS2 and my Dreamcast. I use my PS2 to play USA and japanese games and my Dreamcast to play some japanese games.

What? Is PS2 old? I consider it newer than my XBOX 360 XD (I use it A LOT!)

The oldest systems I have, not really. I hate dealing with those switchboxes on the Atari systems. But I still use both the NES and Famicom, and the SNES sees quite a bit of activity. On the portable front, well... the suspendability of the DS has resulted in my almost moving to it exclusively. (And yet I still buy older GB(C/A) games...)

I don't play my PS2 very often, but I still keep it around in case the mood hits.

My Gamecube usually gets more love than my PS2 when I feel like playing something old.

I still play PS1, Dreamcast, and Gamecube games once and a while. Otherwise, pretty much game exclusively on my PSP and PS3 these days.

My PS2 still sees a lot of use - it was a high school graduation present but I couldn't afford too many games for it in the first few years I had it, so now I'm "catching up". :D Also it travels a lot easier than my PS3. And even if it weren't for all that stuff I'd still need it for my annual FFXII replay. :p

My GameCube's a recent addition and I only have 2 games for it so far, so it's been getting a little dusty.

My PS1 and Gamecube are stored away, but I still have my PS2 hooked up since it's the only way I can play PS2 games. I can thankfully use the PS3 for PS1 games and the Wii for Gamecube games, though. :P

Let's see I use my PS2 about everyday. I resurrected (i.e. found the power cord to) my Gameboy Advance and have been enjoying a bunch of my old GBA and Game Boy games. I break out the SNES every once in a while when I want to be frustrated by the encounter rate in Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, or kick back and have a blast with Mario or Secret of Mana.

still using my ps2 as much as i can, on my free time, but i think either it, or the t.v screen are being bonkers of late.. might try finding a screen replacement..if that fails, i'd say the ps2 is r.i.p :s
i still enjoy kingdom hearts 1 and 2 mostly

I spend pretty equal time on my PS2 and PS3. PS1 is obsolete, but I still have it even tho it is never used. Haven't hooked up the SNES or NES in a long long time.

I still have all my old systems, never got rid of any old systems or games. Still play them from time to time. Have a game room set up in my house that has all the old systems in it. In the past couple months I have played many of my older systems. The SNES is one that has seen a lot of playtime recently as I once again played through the Quintet/Enix Soul Blazer trilogy. Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma are all outstanding games and don't take that long to get through.

Aside from my ps2, ps slim, and gamecube, none of my other older consoles work anymore. (SNES and N64). I recently heard about some kind of "clone" consoles, and it really has me interested in getting one, but has anyone ever heard anything about them or have any recommendations? I'm not interested in buying used consoles, because I took pretty good care of my own, and they didn't last as long as I would have hoped they would.

I still play my PS2 a lot since I have a lot of games I still want to play through for it. Last PS2 game I played was Mana Khemia 1, which I loved.

Every now and then, I'll pull out the Dreamcast and play something. Doesn't happen all that often, though.

My Gamecube is only used to play GB/GBC/GBA games these days.

I use my ps2 most of the time. Mostly for FF X and X-2 (I have a few other ff ones for it)
Though I have started playing my Lunar games on my ps3.

I use my wii mostly to play my Gamecube games (since I pack my gamecube away in it;s box and it hasn't moved from my closet in about 2 years now?)

I use my GBA to play old school Harvest Moons for the GBC. : )

I hardly play my GBA and my GameCube I hardly ever touch because I can just play my Gamecube games on my Wii. I don't play my Xbox anymore.

Overall, my PS2 actually has had more life than my PS3 since I got the PS3...and the margin is big. PS2 is simply awesome. PS3 is great, but still not at the level of PS2 (of course, I'm talking about the games, its obvious that as a console, PS3 is better)

My PS2 has been dead since I got my PS3, same as my DS has been dead since I got my PSP.

You're right on leaving the DS, but poor PS2.
Especially since you haven't played the first two Ar Tonelicos.

On-topic: Well, my PS2 is really new and my PSP too, so it's not like I have any old consoles here. xD

Off-topic: About Gust games, Gust = Awesomeness. :3 And Ar Tonelico 2 is considered by most people I know the best of the three. I'm right now playing it and I must say that the game has been surprising me a lot. I didn't think it would even stand a chance to beat Ar Tonelico 1 for me, as I loved that game a lot. But I'm already liking the main characters a lot (all of them, not counting Croix [I still don't like him, though I've stopped hating him after that event with Cocona]). :3

I really had the luck of not knowing well about the girls' route branching point in AT1, which made me get to love Misha a lot more than I did when she was that annoying pushy kid ( ¬¬ ). :3 By the end of the game, I had a lot of love for the three of them. :3 Though I only got (post-Misha Route) Shurelia's ending. ^^ I really felt bad for Aurica though as I really wanted to get her ending back then. :'(

I want to play Atelier Totori. ( ;_; ) My third reason for wanting a PS3~ (Tales of Graces f and Ar Tonelico QOGA being the first and second respectively).

11-28-2011, 04:06 PM
It reminds me I need to buy Totori... haha. By the way, I need to find my Nintendo 64.

My SNES has long been thrown in a trash by my grandma, so a shame I'm not able to do like you, Pringles. :(
But good luck on finding it. ;) And I guess I should also say: have fun~ ;)

It's not exactly that. She moved from her city some years ago, so she took it with her (because I had already moved and hadn't taken it, since it wasn't working back then, I think). ¬¬
Then she returned to her city in the other year, after breaking up with her boyfriend, and she left it at his house. So, now it's the same as if she had done that actually. :( I was really mad at her back then. My childhood~... :'(

I use PS2 to play some of it's games, and the psx ones. Wild Arms and Suikoden series respectively. I always replay them at least once a year.

I've still got my PS2, Xbox (never play it), GameCube, GBA Micro, and DSiXL all readily available to play along with my backwards compatible PS3, Wii, 3DS, and PSP.

My SNES, NES, N64, Genesis, Dreamcast, GBC, and other numerous GBA's and DS's I've got all boxed up. If I do get the urge to play any games from "the old days" (which does happen frequently) I'll just use my computer. Way less crap hooked up all over the house, much easier to manage.

Yeah the PS2 has so many great titles. I don't think I'll ever get myself to part with it. I have alas parted ways with my SNES and the shrinking amount of games I had for it. It was a good run, but I needed some funds for future game purchases.
