Your favorite male character!!!!

We have a thread about the female characters, so it's only logical to have one about the males.

What's your favorite male character from the Ys series?

For all those who felt left out earlier, now's your chance. Discuss!



I'll start, in order of preference:
Adol, Duless from Origin (except for the shoes, which are horrid), Ernst, Dark Fact, Thor/Toal Fact, Dogi, Geis, Chester, Eldeel, Scias, Priest Tovah from Origin (except for the shoes), Priest Fact from Origin (except for the shoes and the anchor).

it seems our favourite characters are the same except that I like hugo fukt and kishgal in origin , mustafa and elk too in seven , it's true that they shoes are a little weird but for me it's okay :)

Not very original I'm sure, but my top spot would undoubtedly have to go to either Dogi or Adol. They're just such an awesome pair.

Yeah, Kishgal and Hugo are kinda nice too. Kishgal reminds me of Geis. Even Ord with his Micheal Dorn-ish voice selling it has a certain appeal.

It's hard not listing every male in the series. :D

yeah in fact every almost every ys's characters has something attaching good or evil , it's for this that even if ernst or tia or even scias are evil I like them :)

Dark Fact, Chester, and Scias are pretty cool too.

Adol, because the man is literally the definition of a badass. He wanders around the world looking for trouble, and saves people and kicks the BACONBACONBACON of crazy conspiring sorcerers and monsters for no reason but that he can. All the women want him, but he laughs and leaves with nothing but his practice sword and a crappy wooden shield, looking for the next adventure. Let's face it, gentlemen, no matter how hard we try, we will never be as cool as Adol Christin. Never.

Adol and Dogi as they are my favorite pair ever. Elk and Geis secondary.

-Dogi: why? Because this guy is awesome,and he never ceases to amaze me.And because he is kind-hearted,funny,huggable,and a lot of things.
-Adol: he is lovely,and the swordsman whom all the girls dream.

for most games, i'd say adol.. a 1 man army against beasts and against the odds with some mad beings
taol fact aka "the claw" bad BACONBACONBACON appearance, and from what i saw on youtube, a badass bonus boss fight :)

em...Kishgal and toal from origin be awesome, Adol and Dogi from any Ys is always a winner, Chester and Berhardt in felghana, G.eis in seven and napishtim hehe! Scias is a nice character too.

i think ill add toal as well, and kishgal, his encounter is fun
antagonists: gadis, garuda and leo [dawn of YS and celceta remake] - the classic version was fun to listen to, the voice actors did job well done as trouble makers, mostly leo's voice talent XD
the remake makes leo even more dastardly, which is nice to see too
