View Full Version : Media Player Classic with no subtitles?

I'm trying to watch an anime and VLC crashed and could not be repaired, so I dl media player classic but it simply cannot show the subtitles.
I know it's a codec/plug-in but which one I wonder, because the last time I dl a good virus :D
I cannot watch raw yet

Try the KLite Codec Pack -- that's always done the trick for me.
It's been a while, so I can't actually vouch for this specific link... but this should have what you need, and seems like a trusty source:

Or better yet, the Combined Community Codec Pack.
And if you get no subtitle option in MPC, just right click on the video while it's playing, select...stream, I think it is...and you can change tracks there.

No no it really was a codec problem I tried to put subtitiles on but the option was grey-ed
