Now, now... if you all got those payday loans, just THINK of ALL the Xseed games you could buy!!!

Er, what's that you say? Fine print, eh? HOLY CATS!!!!

On a serious note, a few more spambots crept up, and I realized there isn't actually a report function on the forum, at least not one I notice. That might be a handy thing to have!

I second this. There's a lot of spambots, a feature that would make them not able to register would be nice as well.
There is a report function - it's the ! triangle at the bottom left corner of posts. A better resolution is to implement a Captcha box during registration (or at least I don't remember one). That doesn't get rid of all spam, but it helps.

I third that, but airline ticket fees and shipping spiked clubs to destinations ahead of time to avoid screening issues might exceed Xseed's budget...

They have been dealing with the spam pretty quick, so far. Anyway, having a captcha set up would be great. If one is used, they should use the Q&A module for the captcha plugin, since that is the most secure. Most of the time, only a human can register and set the spambot to use that account. That is one of the only ways for spam to flood forums with that captcha plugin, but most are too lazy to set up a spambot to use the account after registering. If the admins here need to set it up, the option should be in the ACP under the option for human verification on the left-side bar.

I am thoroughly amused by the spam put forth by "equicabbaby". Elaborate, indeed. Legendary, even.

I'm finding it absolutely hilarious that this thread got hit by a spammer.
