I have finished it. Though, I only enjoyed it until I finished the Hotel area. I didn't really enjoy it much after that, and ended up having to force myself to finish it. The story became silly when it was trying to explain how the world became how it was. I would've been more satisfied if it was just about finding other survivors or something. :P

Overall though, it was a pretty good experience.

I finished it! Good game, but I didn't like the ending or why everybody died, it was...strange

The ending was fine, better than I expected.

I beat it as well. I also completely agree with AweOfShe that the explanations for what happened to the world were kind of crappy. I was expecting something better or more interesting...Oh well. The game was decent over all, though. It had some great moments, some crappy moments, and some mediocre ones.

I beat it, loved every minute. One of the best games in the past 5 years, I too felt the reason for why the world changed was sort of, hokey and too cliched (I wanted something, I guess more visceral).

I finished the game as well. I think it was good story about human drama but some parts fall a little flat.

Beat the game this summer...
The fighting gameplay was really bad but it's ok cause you can skip most of them.
Otherwise the story was really good (some part like what happened to the world was kind of...not crappy but a little disappointing), the characters too, the atmosphere...
Really a great game overall.

Well, looks like I can add my name to here. Just beat it last night. I managed to get ALL the memory items but 4 of them (aww...) One I'm certain was on the other side of the rollercoster. But between walking slow, and the crows pushing me off, I was fed up around that point to find the other side and get the item >_< Assuming it was a memory... Still, pretty much all of the theme park bugged me... I wasn't quite as mad with the rest of the gameplay :p Still, I remember listening to my preorder bonus soundtrack of it when it first came out and LOVED the music! It works great in the game, so pretty^^
It was a short game, and that's fine by me, since I have a million others to get through...

I finished it quite a while ago, can't remember exactly when. I enjoyed it and thought it was a good game, I'll agree the reason for the world going to crap was not as good as it could have been, but overall I enjoyed the story and how it got across the ideas of loneliness and the yearning for companionship. The memories were especially good and one of the best parts of the game IMO. As for the combat I can see how people would have a problem with it and at times it was frustrating but overall I didn't really mind it too much. So yeah it was a good game and if I actually owned a Wii it would be one of the like five games I would want to buy for it. And before you ask I borrowed a friends Wii to play it and No More Heroes 2 so that's how I played it without a Wii.

Yeah, I must say the reason for the apocalypse was... NOT what I was expecting and left me with a "ohh... really? That's... it?"

I agree the reason for the Apocalypse wasn't the best, but by that point I was so in love with the game I didn't care about no damn reasons anymore. Sure, it could have been even better, but it was already so unique I couldn't be disappointed by it.

It sort of like when there is some cute girl you have a crush on and you don't get fazed when she does something really stupid, but instead you just go "oh you!". Of course I'm talking about a really unique cute girl here, not just some broad.

Haven't played yet, but I just ordered the game from the Xseed shop. Seriously, I've never seen this game physically in any store.

I think it had a pretty low print (and only one widely-distributed print) and I think stores only got in a few copies. It had some parts that bugged me, but overall enjoyable :) Let us know what you think of it when you get it!

Just beat this thang. I have a weakness for exploration games with flashlights lol so this really hit the spot. I have to admit, I purchased this game with Fallout in mind, but I was just as satisfied. Honestly the game could have certainly used some better exploration elements, its rather dreary being in corridors 95% of the game. Not that the game lacked any exploration, just more outdoors that doesn't involve a theme park :P . Also more locations would have been nice, I felt that the locales were all too similar and oddly my favorite location was the hotel, which had the most free exploration and was something I recognized more than cold, dungeony underground locations. This being said, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I cried when PF died, crow died, and when Sai Vanished into nothingness. Seriously, 10 hour game and I cried three times. I'm an adult sitting here crying in front of my Wii, which I feel means the game invoked some serious significance in me. I would love to see a sequel (with better combat(mainly the addition of a targeting system)) some time in the future. Also, they could add like 30 hours onto the game :D

I bought this at Fry's electronics just a few weeks ago, they had multiple copies

A gorgeous, but extremely slow and boring game. I gave up probably about halfway through. Tri-Crescendo should have stuck to RPGs.

Sat down alone in the dark on a Saturday morning, played the game from start to finish in one sitting.

Despite its flaws, I was hooked the whole time and I was tearing up at the end. XSEED deserves props for translating it (and for allowing dual audio). Games with atmosphere always get to me.

Frys is an exception however, since they are the only B&M store I know of that buys quite a few copies of niche titles. With Gamestop, it depends on preorders. People preorder and then they send a few extra copies for non-preorders. With Frys, that sounds like the copies didn't sell from the initial shipment and they've had them sitting there since.

I've been looking for this game in case I do get a Wii, and the only place I found was on the brazilian Ebay, it's also the very last copy they have. Should I get it just in case it disappears from the market?

I say, if it's a reasonable price, go for it! If not, there's still places in America where you can get it for $20 (including the XSEED Store) where maybe someone can help send to you? (I'm unfortunately unable to at the moment v_v)

Oh, XSEED's Store has it for $20? Then I'll wait. If I do get a Wii, I'll get this copy, but if they sell that copy until then, I'll manage getting one from XSEED's Store.

I don't actually have a Wii, but one of my sisters does... I played the game with her a few times, it's wonderful.

I finished it, and it was awesome.
Too short, and awful gameplay though. I fled all the battles I could past the middle of the game. Final bosses where tough because of xp lack, but still doable.
But the feeling, the emotions are totally counterbalancing its dark sides, in my opinion. An experience more than a game.
