All these food threads have been killing me, so why not do another one? :)

The Challenge: You are convicted of something heinous (and delicious) involving pikkards and are sentenced to die. What would your final meal request be?

(I need to ponder mine, but if you know yours, share!)

If there is one thing me and Chie have in common, it is that we both love our STEAK! Mmm, Fsteak.

So, my last meal would have to be well-done steak, fried with onions and served with creamy mashed potatoes and a spicy peppercorn sauce.

Do we get desserts? You didn't say. If we do get deserts It's gonna have to be hot chocolate fudge cake with a scoop of Ben and Jerry's Fairly Nuts ice cream.

I am suddenly famished.

A burger and a ton of fries from Fuddruckers. I'm simple like that, nothing fancy, just some good ol' Fuddruckers :P

The world's rarest mushroom. While they search it out, I will attempt to formulate my escape. Though if I do, I'll miss out on the world's rarest mushroom... quite a conundrum.

Skip the fries and just make it two burgers and I might consider it.

Interesting final meals actual prisoners have asked for:

Aileen Wuornos: Canteen food and a cup of coffee.
John Wayne Gacy: Fried shrimp, a bucket from KFC and a pound of strawberries
Joan of Arc: Had a Holy Communion
Dennis Wayne Bagwell: Medium rare steak with A1 Steak Sauce, fried chicken breasts and thighs, BBQ ribs, French fries, onion rings, bacon, scrambled eggs with onions, fried potatoes with onions, sliced tomatoes, salad with ranch dressing, two hamburgers, peach pie, milk, coffee, and iced tea with real sugar.

I'm torn here, but it'ld quite possibly either be Chili (the spicier, the better :D ) or Mexican Enchiladas ^.^

Now i'm hungry...

Man, these threads are making me hungry also. And it's nearing dinner time...

But for now, I'd want a bottomless pot of tortellini and meatballs. I could make it myself, except for the fact that I can't make a roux. (I think that's how it's spelled?) And it's so goood... and if I'm going to die anyway, you better bet I want to eat my fill of this!

Sushi pizza. Don't know why it isn't out there yet, but if I'm going to go, I'm going to stuff myself with a combination of my favorite food groups.

I don't care about the main course--I just want to skip straight to dessert!
Vanilla cr?®me br?ªl?©e.
Not too heavy, but just so, with that...that crispy caramel shell....
Mmm, if it were good enough, I wouldn't mind dying afterwards....

I'd go for the most awesome plate of okonomiyaki I can find because I love it and I never seem to have enough of it. I could die happy.

When thinking about my last meal, one thing immediately came to mind. It was something which would not only be delicious, but would take me back to my salad days of youth. Oh, but it's not salad. It is...the Famous Dave's All-American BBQ Feast (TM). Just look at this blurb from the Famous Dave's website: "A full slab of St. Louis-style spareribs, a whole chicken, 1/2 lb. of either Texas beef brisket or Georgia chopped pork, coleslaw, Famous Fries, Wilbur Beans, four corn-on-the-cob, and four corn bread muffins. Served family-style for 4-6."

Obviously, I would reapportion it for just one person (incidentally, two of my friends did eat that entire thing on their own...twice), but eating all of that before marching to the scaffold would be going out in style.

First, as much macaroni and cheese with sliced hot dogs to make a man puke, and to drink I would request pepsi to re-make the greatest soda creation of all time, Blue Pepsi, and then finish the meal off with some type of extravagant cheesecake. Not too extravagant mind you, but slightly fancy cheesecake... Mmmmm... Excuse me while I go commit some heinous crime...

Pudding, but not a normal one, a giga pudding.

Probably a delicious t-bone or sirloin steak, some mashed potatos, seasoned fries (or small, crispy potato wedges), maybe some mac and cheese, and Sister Schubert's rolls.

A nice big pizza topped with jalape?±os, pepperoni, pineapple, and loaded with extra cheese. Maybe some crazy bread on the side. I love crazy bread.

If I'm being put to death, I think I'd eat whatever would most greatly inconvenience whoever would have to deal with my corpse after it had voided its bowels when all the muscles had relaxed. So, yeah, probably five-alarm chili. And a bunch of antipasto.

Then your friends probably swallowed a bottomless pit beforehand:p

Just for the irony of it, I'd order a pikkard.

That would probably stay your sentence indefinitely. Very clever. ;)

Here's my current final meal (in progress)

Amouse Bouche:

Tai ceviche with lemon, sweet and sour plum, and shiso granita.

Starter:

Foie gras with black truffles on a toasted baguette with a honey, balsamic and port reduction.

Entree:

Thick, hearty, red wine, mushroom, tender beef stew with, you guessed it, lots of wine on the side. ^_^ I will require freshly baked bread that I may tear apart and dip, rashers of bacon to add to the bread (if it please me), and honey butter.

2nd Course-

...undecided yet! More to come as I ponder it on the bus. :)
