I've already posted some, but I figured I'd do an introduction. Never done one before, didn't see a point. There's a first time for everything, right?
To start with some real world stuff, I live in Alabama (yes, we have computers) and work overnights in retails (which sucks!). I'm underemployed I guess, with an associates degree in Web Development. Know PHP fairly well, and am looking into other programming languages like C# and maybe Lua.
I like all kinds of tech related stuff, video games (obviously), a weird variety of music (primarily rock/metal), and various sciences. Actually going to see the Endeavour launch later this month unless something comes up and I can't go. Might post some pictures if I get any good ones.
For Internet-me, I've been around for while. If anybody recognizes my name it's most likely from RuneHQ. Yeah, I spent an embarrassing amount of time playing RuneScape years back, but it was probably worth it for the community there and some of the friends I made. Was a staff member there for a while, a lowly site submissions editor and worked my way up to forum manager.
Been on lots of other forums as well, right now I mostly lurk Neogaf (and I recognize a few of you from there), but I can't post because I never got a confirmation email. Been lurking about 2-3 years now, it's kind of a running gag between me and a few friends at this point.
I should probably mention I suck at writing/talking and both online and off people have trouble determining the inflection of what I say/type. I'm really not an aggressive or super-serious person, even if my posts might read like that sometimes. As a result of that, I have a tendency to spend 20 minutes rewriting and editing a post before eventually giving up on it and not posting it at all :(
