For those of you who don't know much about it, Melty Blood is a 2D fighting game series. For reference here's a gameplay video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFRuTG4id2o).
With Japanese fighting games like Guilty Gear and BlazBlue doing quite well (IMO) in the west, it would be awesome (and perhaps profitable) to properly bring this series to NA. Given the awesome job that XSEED has done with the Ys games on Steam, it would be a dream come true if Melty Blood: Actress Again Current Code could have the same achievements/steam cloud/leaderboards treatment; if netplay was integrated as well, even better.
Fighting games in PC are scarce: by the end of the year, the Street Fighting series and Skullgirls would probably be the only titles available of this genre on Steam. Therefore, the impact of releasing this game at this given time could be quite huge.
Finally, there is a big crowd who would get this game day one if it was localized. For example: in 2010, one of the games chosen to be part of the EVO Championship (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution_Championship_Series#Evo_2010) (biggest fighting game tournament in NA) was Melty Blood: Actress Again, the previous iteration of this game.
