Hmm, did you do that? I thought only masochists or hardcores would do that on nightmare...:)

The answer is actually quite simple! A nice bowl of God-O's cereals every morning to start each day with energy! There is no healthier breakfast in your life than *more God-O's cereals ad nonsense*

So how do the God-O's taste like? Even better than a Roda fruit? :D

they taste better than god infused divinely delicious Roda Fruits for sure! In fact, god infused divinely delicious Roda Fruits are one of the ingredients used to make those awesome cereals!

As 321 noted, this game (like Oath in Felghana) actually uses pre-set save points, rather than offering save-anywhere support like Ys I & II or Ys Seven.
You'll be given the ability to activate and/or purify statues as part of the plot. Whenever you find one, activate/purify it, then make like you're talking to it (press the action/attack button while standing next to it and facing it) to bring up the save prompt.
And 321 and Jake, while this *is* an amusing conversation, we have a new forum-goer with a problem here, so I think it would be best not to go too far off-topic until we've confirmed that his/her issue is resolved, OK?

Alright, I apologize for kinda going off topic though I sure this player has quickly solved his issue once looking at the solution to his question. :)

Oh, yeah, I don't doubt that at all. And I don't typically have any issue with going off-topic -- I just don't want to frighten off the new guy, y'know? ;)

'Frighten off the new guy'? If he can face big bad demons and sorcerers, surely he can handle conversations like that, no? :)
