Is Xseed going to be at E3 this year? Will there be any game announcements?

Doesn't seem likely. They were "at" E3 last year, as in literally people from XSEED were there, but I don't think they did anything other than some interviews? No announcements/booth/etc.

True, I was hoping things would be different this year.

I migth be wrong about this but to announce anything at a covention dosnt they need to produce their own games?
Since they are localizing games its very hard to announce anything
due to the games coming from japan and they have to get permission and whatnot.
At least id imagine it woudnt be easy.

Pretty certain that as publisher for the games in NA, XSeed are responsible for all marketing, which would include choosing when and where the game's announced. Certainly possible that they could have a game stashed away to reveal during E3, just have to wait and see. *Crosses fingers for Senran Kagura*

I'm crossing my fingers from any japanese game, except maybe for that Hello Kitty MMO.

XSEED will indeed have a booth at E3 (http://e312.mapyourshow.com/5_0/exhibitor_results.cfm?type=alpha&alpha=X&CFID=50698218&CFTOKEN=957e0f0836d9bca3-E476DDA7-BFB6-BDDD-A05694ABC59472CF). However, I wouldn't expect much in the way of announcements. Niche publishers generally tend to be afraid to announce new titles at E3 for fearing of being completely overshadowed by the big guns. But never say never.

We'll have a meeting room, not a booth, but some of us will be working the floor.

Does this mean you will be making announcements?

Any news are being revealed during E3, or did XSEED get a booth only to show off merchandise?

Unlikely. Meeting rooms are usually just for hands on sessions.

According to Jess they didn't get a booth.

For those wondering, our meeting room at E3 was/is to show off The Last Story, Way of the Samurai 4, Ragnarok Odyssey, Orgarhythm and Unchained Blades. We have Takuya Matsumoto (developer of The Last Story) as well as Tak Hirai (creator/director of Orgarhythm), Shuichiro Hamada (project manager for Orgarhythm) and Richie Casper (creative director for Orgarhythm, from Acquire) present for interviews and gameplay demos, too, for that added extra bit of spice. Expect awesome interviews and previews to be posted by the gaming media soon (and check here (http://orgarhythm.jp/special/index.html) for some photos of H.Protagonist and Hatsuu [with specialty blue hair!] showing Orgarhythm off to con-goers!).

There is no one, anywhere, on the internet that is reporting a single piece of news regarding Ragnarok Odyssey, and that makes me believe XSEED isn't showing RO at all.

Here's one preview from E3:

Overall I have to agree though. I think it's weird how the gaming media ignores this title. When it was officially announced only a handful of sites seemed to be reporting about it. Even Orgarhythm got a spot in this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1fEX9-LR9tg) E3 Vita Sizzle but not Ragnarok.

You surprised me, I thought that virtually no website had its hands on the game. Still, how come we get information, hands-on and previews about Orga (that's what I'm calling it now) and almost nothing on XSEED's first retail Vita title? Go all-out, if you're doing a physical print.

My theory is that E3 just plain hates JRPGs :/ "Bad for investors" maybe they think :/

Orgarhythm had the benefit of having half its creators present to explain it to people, as well as playable demo units in the Sony booth. But we showed both Orgarhythm and Ragnarok Odyssey to pretty much *everyone* who came by XSEED's meeting room (unless they specifically asked not to see it, as was the case with a few Nintendo-exclusive publications), so if people aren't reporting on it, they either haven't gotten to it yet... or they didn't think it was good enough to report on.

If it's the latter, though, I say POO ON THEM. ;)

They are fully clothed so it's allowed. and both are good looking I'll say.
