Ys: the Oath in Felghana steam windowed mode error.

I was playing in on the normal version and the first cut scene showed me a severe error and glitches on the cut scene. Broken pieces of images and i can barely see the cut scenes because they were so glitched out.

(Also tried with Direct 8 )

I'm on windows 7 Intel i5 , NVS 4200, 4 GB Ram...

The intro video? I know people were having problems with that before they updated the game due to the codec used or something. Not sure why it would do that after the update though. Try verifying the game cache in the game properties.

In the game's config program, you can actually disable movie playback. It's not a perfect solution, but until our next patch, it should help you get through the difficulties (and fortunately, Felghana barely has any movie cutscenes -- most of the game is rendered with in-game graphics).
