Good evening. I suppose an introduction as in order.

I've visited the forums back since......XSEED opened them. Gosh time has flown. I didn't actually join though until September of 2011; and I am just now finally posting. Yeah, my life is always busy. But now with some great titles and future projects on the way with XSEED I finally wanted to make myself known on the forums.

I am currently 28 years old and work for Health Management Services in the Dallas area. My previous work history includes the video game industry (outside contracting/marketing), independent game design, marketing for security distributors, and retail (who hasn't done this?).

I am fluent in Japanese and lived in Chiba, Japan for quite some time. For a long time a goal of mine was to become part of a localization company in the industry. Sadly, living in Dallas doesn't offer many opportunities here as all of them are either in Irvine/Orange County, California or up in the Seattle, Washington area. But not a big deal.

My hobbies are foreign cultures, marketing/localization, music, reading, and naturally video games. The project(s) I am most excited about that XSEED are bringing to the table are the 2nd chapter of Trails in the Sky and Grand Knights History.

Fun Fact: I own almost every game XSEED has ever released and personally think they are one of the (if not the only) best localization companies out there who actually know how to do things right. I may make another topic on this sometime in the I <3 XSEED forums.

Well then, I look forward to discussing XSEEDs awesome projects with you in the future.

EDIT: Updated errors and added stuff because I am le tired.

Gelwein: You shall never silence me.
Raguna: I'll give you a cookie.

Yeah time is a bit of a hard thing for me to come by. Working in the Health industry for the federal government occupies quite a bit of your time. We are currently working (and have been working) 7 day workweeks, 12 hours a day since mid February. It's been quite rough. Looks like a break will finally be coming up once April starts though. But yes, I will try to stop by whenever I get a free moment and say hi, translate stuff, and help out fellow members who want to ask questions about the game industry.

Side note: I've been to Puerto Rico. Very cool place. Would love to go back again sometime.

Thanks due to the next election coming up and the thing with Puerto Rico becoming a state or not things have been pretty hectic around here.

The only thing I say to most tourist that I have short conversations with is that no matter where you look you'll always see a tree nearby.

Greetings fellow Texan!

Oh please do tell me where. If you are Northern DFW based we need to get together and exchange greetings. Always looking for another fellow local gaming friend.

Not a bad place all things considered. My (great) grandparents lived in Robstown and it made for a great excuse to visit Padre Island every time we were down there.

Hey Sav, is it okay for me to say that I can't get my eyes off your avatar? It's rare to find such a great looking avatar on the internet.

His avatar sorta reminds me of Gig from Soul Nomad and the World Eaters.

That would be because it is. Its Gig's "cut-in" from the combo attacks in Disgaea 3. Here have the full version.

Oh wow, that's an awesome cut-in. Most of them are really boring, except the Nisa one from Disgaea 4 that was my avatar here for months.
