Is Panzer Dragon a good enoug game for me to buy and buy the sytem along with it? Or is it bad not worth buying a system for a lone game?

All of the Panzer Dragoon games are amazing in my opinion. Good luck finding a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga at a decent price though, that game is retar.dedly rare. Though I suppose if it was possible for anyone, it would be you, you find some pretty crazy deals.

It's only the first one, probably not in great condition. He ask for 15 but I won't pay that :P

I though I'd buy a lot, but going there I will judge on the state and drop the price agian.

$15 is honestly pretty good for the first game if it's complete.

Still, I won't pay that :D I'll try 25 for the two games (koudelka) since my games are in majority very good, it's a pain to get an ''acceptable'' piece

Well, I will just second that the games are amazing. :3 I have never played Saga though, for obvious reasons, but if you can find it for a good price, you should jump on it.

$15 is a pretty good price for a completel copy of the first game (or Zwei), but if it is beaten up I would not really want to buy it either.

Yes it is an awesome game and I wish my friend would just give up and sell saga to me already.

How much would you be willing to pay? :3

Panzer Dragoon series is fantastic. If you have an XBox, Orta also has the first game programmed in too, if I recall. So if you can't find a price you want to pay for the first game, at least Orta is great alternative.

Depends on the overall condition and who I'm buying it from

Yea Orta runs on the 360 pretty nicely. :)

Orta is also a great game by itself. :3 I have heard that the copy of Panzer Dragoon that it comes with has some frame rate issues, but I am not sure how bad it is, because I have not tried it yet. Oh, and Orta also works on the 360.

EDIT: Darn it.

Oh, right, it works on 360. Completely forgot about that.

Too bad for me that it's region-locked, lol (Didn't run on my JP360 >_<). The only Original XBox games that aren't region-locked on 360 b/c is Tecmo games (from my experience). D:

Saturn games need to go on PSN or Nintendo Network (NiN?) or something. So I can play Panzer Dragoon Saga.

I have all four of the main Panzer Dragoon games (original, Zwei, Saga, Orta), there are a few minor spin offs and ports too. Its one of my favorite series of all time.

Panzer Dragoon 1 is not a game that would go over well with the current generation of gamers, as its completely unforgiving. You have a limited number of continues just like old arcade ports, so when you run out it's "game over" and you have to start over from the first level. Even though it's on-rails every level has multiple paths you can take, however they're rarely obvious. It can seem really cheap and unfair until you learn how to properly dodge attacks (which I think was detailed in the manual). Music is really great, lots of nifty unlockables too if your good enough to beat the game on normal/hard (or just input a secret button combination at the title screen).

Zwei is more fare, and less arcade'y with more obviousness in it levels branching paths. It improves on the original in almost every way, though I actually didn't care for the music as much.

Saga is easily the best rpg on the Saturn that got localized. It a wonderful game, with a lot of attention paid to the little details. something any rpg fan should play at some point. Its only about 20 hours long and rather easy, so don't expect a Final Fantasy type game, but what's there is great.

Orta is a return to the on-rails formula of the first two games. For its time it has amazing graphics, and is very challenging. It wasn't made by the original team behind the series so some of the 'Panzer Dragoon' feel is lost in its world/art/music, but it's an overall worthy addition to the series none the less. Dont bother with the port of the first game included with it, it runs at about 15fps.
