End boss...

so...made it to last encounter...the thing does an attack that murders all my people right away...what kinda lvl do they expect you to have? i'm already at least 25 or higher with all six characters. any advice? thanks.

That boss is mostly about luck more than it is about your level. If he does the cleave, it pretty much obliterates you. However, the boss has rather low HP (to the point that with some setups, a single character can kill him in one turn). Outbursting him would be the easiest way to win but I hear two bishops will mostly negate him with magic wall spam. Defensive approaches are much trickier since he regenerates so much HP.

Okay...just got him. Turns out magic works so much better, since his dodge ability is so ridiculous. Most monsters have trouble dodging magic, from my experience :)
