Wouldn't it be nice if developer CyberConnect2 decided to work on Solatorabo 2?
The validity of these pics may be in question, but they sure make up for a pleasant dream, wouldn't you say?

I have to say I enjoyed what I played of Solatorobo and it be great if another game in series came here.

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter was very simplistic and somewhat easy, but the environments were absolutely stunning, and the story was humorous yet interesting enough to play all the way through. I'd love to see a sequel with more emphasis on combat variety though.

I totally agree, the combat was a bit too simplistic and repetitive. The story and characters were great though, not to mention the music. I guess it only means that there is more room to expand and improve if a sequel does surface. There have been some hints towards a sequel being released so I am hopeful.

Unless they got rid of the endless hand-holding I wouldn't buy a sequel.

I mean, if they can prove that they definitely have improved things from the first game, sure. But I really was not a fan of the first (other than the graphics), so I'm kind of skeptical.

I want to believe but I don't think I can. Something about those images seems off somehow. I don't doubt that they're working on another but it feels way to soon.

Well, Solatorobo was originally released in October 28, 2010. Now that CyberConnect2 have finished working on Asura's Wrath and the latest Naruto title, I see no reason why they wouldn't want to work on a sequel to Solatorobo. It took so many years to receive the necessary funding for the first game that I'm sure CyberConnect2 don't want to lose another second from producing a second game.

Can they make the bosses a bit harder? :3 I was able to beat the game without any extra gears.

Yes, there's a fan-campaign going on for both Solatorobo and .Hack// series. Maybe both of them being developed by CyberConnect and published by Namco in Japan, it'd give XSEED a chance on someday getting dibs on the .Hack// franchise.

The latest .hack game is already in development and will most likely receive an international release since it's based on a well-know series.
Solatorobo 2, on the other hand, hasn't even been green lit yet. Cyberconnect 2 wants to sell more copies of the original before committing to a sequel.

I still need to fully play through the first one, but I'd certainly pick up the second based on what I've played of the first.

I hope Tail Concerto shows up as a PSOne Classic first.

Only thing I'd change myself is a bit of hike in difficulty in the bosses/a bit more bosses.

Would love to see this happen, but the sales weren't so great in Japan or the US---to date, it's only sold about 154,000 copies, worldwide...shame it didn't sell better =/

Where did you get that number from? Hopefully not VGChartz? I don't believe it for an instant if it's supposed to be worldwide.
