A few questions (possible spoilers)

I love the game. Definitely the best fishing game I've ever played. Very well thought out and detailed. However, stuck on a few things...

(possible spoilers)

1) Having trouble finding the Wels Catfish in Dua Ribu Lake. The quest says "fish past the island with the hut", but i'm having trouble finding exactly what that means. I don't see a hut on any island. Just the one in the middle with the building, but I don't know if that qualifies as a "hut".

2) Great White Shark! Been itching to catch this while trolling. Any tips? I know it's temperate ocean but what kind of trolling bait did you use for those who have caught it?

3) King of Herrings! Been to Safir Cave and have hooked it on many occasions but can not bring it in. It'll look like i'm bringing it in but then it gets away without the line breaking or releasing it. I'm using the 2 star L-XL rod, do I need the 3 star?

4) and finally. I have caught every fish in Temen Beach except one and I have no clue what it is. I never see it posted on the bulletin board as a target. In the fish guide of Temen, it's on the last Temen page on the left side between the moray eel and needlefish. Any advice?

Not sure how helpful, but when I caught the King of Herrings I was using the 2 star XL rod and rainbow bait.
I only caught it the first time tho. Tried two more times and lost it both times, haven't tried it again since tho.

After the Wel's Catfish quest is activated, you can catch him at the top of the map (most northern and to the east). You know you are in the vicinity when you see a tree sticking out of the water. Its the only one sticking out in that area.

@sforti01, thank you! That has been bugging me for days. I wish the quest info was more specific. "Ways past the island with the hut" wasn't as specific.

Do you happen to know what my last missing Temen Paradise Beach fish is, the info is in my first post.

About Teman Beach, I think you're talking about the Parrotfish, I did not fish it yet, It is said that it can be found inside the Kayaks pool

Row out to the northern buoys and look in the water for a light blue-green fish, that's almost the same color as the water. You might have trouble attracting it alone though since that place is flooded with other fish also wanting to bite your bait. It's also sometimes rare so keep looking if you can't find it.

Actually that was me. I mainly keep rotating between Fishing Resort & Pkmn Emerald, along with a few others I play in short bursts.

Oops. My bad. Then, I don't know. He did come back and update that he had 90 S-ranks several weeks after he got the dunkle though. I think he's just busy.

Glad to see you're still here PBGamer. I guess I'll just post this here. What is the most anyone had to catch to S-rank a specific fish? I'm at 63 Japanese Huchens and still no S-rank. There is either something wrong with my game or I'm just having terrible luck.

Hey PB, I am also glad to see you still here. At least Huchens aren't rare. You might have 64 syndrome like me. Let me know if your 64th one is an S-rank. My 64th catfish and chicken grunt were both S-ranks.

That sounds rough Philia... Anyways, I haven't been able to play much today, but I passed the 64 mark and still no S-rank. I think I'll try S-ranking something else for a while.

Great White Shark. When you have your cruiser, dock at Kerikil and then get back on. Instead of driving, change to Trolling. Use all 5 rods and all on bait 1 (white on the left) or 2 (next to 1 on the right). I caught all of mine on 1 (white). You will then follow a route trolling south and then east and then back north again. I caught 2 A fish the first time out and was lucky to catch my S as my 3rd fish on the second time out and within sight of Kerikil. It jumps a lot so you can definitely see you have a shark!!

I am on 187 S fish now. All of them are in the oceans. I am currently trolling off Sepuliah (spelling?) Island (starting from the dock) and trying to get S Hammerhead and S Barracuda.

Mahi-Mahi S is at the same location and same method. I am using all white lures.
