Stuck on Chapter 2 (spoilers...)

I'm stuck on Chapter 2 and I keep getting the same wrong end. (The one where this wire thing kills both Ayumi and Yoshiki).

I got the power stone and gave it to Yoshiki while I was playing as the teacher. I got the nail pryer thing. I opened the door in the first room and turned the lever. I then went to the room with the ghost boy and turned that lever as well. First Ayumi died from the wire, and then Yoshiki dies

I don't know what to do... Help please.

Wow, I came in here thinking I could help, as I'm on chapter three, but I haven't seen any of these things. Maybe having the powerstone causes it to happen as I never came across any wires that killed me.

All I know is I have never found a room with wires in (So I guess maybe you don't need to go there at all) and I never found any powerstone, so maybe you don't need to keep it either, though this may come to bite me in other chapters? If it works that way.

Or maybe you're talking to someone or checking a certain something that is causing the wires to happen somehow?

Of course this means I want to replay the chapter at some point and see if I can find these things.

It's happening where all the shoes are.
What happened was I saw that ghost kid and Ayumi told me not to look at him in the eye, so I took the nail pryer and then left. When I went south of the hallway where it splits in 3 Ayumi got like possessed or something and then ran into the room where all the shoe cabinets are where the front entrance is. So I just left her be and turned both levers on. After I turned the second lever on she was looking for Yoshiki and then got cut in half by wires.

You can't do that. You have go next to Ayumi to see her possessed, and then talk to her. She'll then return to normal. After you leave the room, the ghost will be in front of you, so hurry back to the Entranceway. When you leave again, he'll be very far away, so you'll be able to dodge. Just pull both levers normally, opening up the new path! ;)

I followed her when she dissapeared and snapped her out of it and was attacked by the Ghost Kid again. The kid then roams those halls for the rest of the chapter (or did for me).

So thats the main difference between our playthroughs. I have no idea if you can get past those wires with the way you've done it.

You don't have control over those wires, thats a bad end triggered by whar Pringles said.

You go to Ayumi at the entrance of the school -> talk to her ->she joins you again -> pull levers ->go to next area -> more to come

Of course, from the moment she joins you that ghost will be there through all the chapter, and it WILL kill you just by touching you (he's not such a good buddy like the one with Naomi on chapter 1). So be aware of him, and try to save just before going through that zone everytime.

To avoid the wire ending, just talk to Ayumi at the entranceway before pulling any triggers. That's it.

You can evade him...I still haven't got the stone (though I'll have to go get it afterwards...) and I did get the "good" ending for chapter 2

If you give the stone to the students, you can't get one wrong end, the stairs one. About the ghost boy, you do can get through him, you just have to let him come towards you and then you evade him on that narrow space he was located before.

I guess you have to be really good with where you move and where you let the ghost move, because I definitely couldn't get around him after I came back from pulling the lever in the nailed up room.

That's weird. When I was going for the stairs "wrong end", the stone broke and my character didn't want to leave that area and go downstairs, meaning I had to start a new game and not even touching the stone for that playthrough.

Oh, I see now! Yeah, I lost the Power Stone in the classroom, so obviously the Stairs Wrong END happened.
What you may have experienced was a bug where the game expects you to lose the Power Stone in the classroom. So it did not think that one would still have one on them at the part with the stairs. I might need to replay that and see if I can get to the stairs with the Power Stone in tact.

He's slower than you, and there is a 6-tiles space on the back of the room. You have to lure him through that 1-tile corridor and go down. When he's almost catching up to you, go up two/three tiles and run for your life.

Sorry for the double posting, but I have one doubt. The only thing that I'm missing from Chapter 2 is the Lexern Senior High School student tag. There's only 1 student from that school, and even though I've investigated all corpses on the chapter, I'm still missing that one. Is it from the Extra Chapter, perhaps?

Death scenes like that and the ghost in chapter 1 are what really make me wish this had a skip function if its something you've already experienced before. I usually just press the home button cause it seems quicker than waiting through all the dialogue.

I don't know, but Ms. Yui still had the stone when I reached Chapter 2 "proper end", although I'm playing Chapter 3 now and I already missed the scented beads for the little boy ghost.

Did you look at him directly? Not necessarily talking to him, just looking at him

Actually the stone is a second chance if you by mistake or on purpose look into the ghosts eye when you enter that classroom.This also applies for the beads its also a second chance and your ticket for not getting your first available bad end.

No, there's no ending involved on the third floor next to the Custodian's note about bringing him the name tags. What star is this Wrong End you're missing?

Go to the girls bathroom, wander around, inspect the toilets and that human-shaped thing, and then a cutscene should unfold when you try to exit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that you have to read all the victim's memoirs and then after the scene in the infirmary you'll find a new note on the ground and you have to read that.

Just reading the 5 memoirs should do it. Actually, when you red the fifth one, its over, just cutscene and ending.

Make sure to keep two saves, one with you reading Victim's Memoir (4/5) and one without you reading Victim's Memoirs (4/5) because you will miss a name tag if you read it.

I don't know if I think its the most exciting feature, but they're definitely awesome. Thing is...good endings are also great..so I'm just happy getting every possible ending and every possible tag xD

This. The "proper ends" leave me craving for more, wanting to keep playing until the game is over.

I also how there are different scenes depending on the choices you make, such as in CHAPTER 3 when Satoshi chooses to sleep in the Infirmary or not. Makes me want to go back and see every possible dialogue.

Wrong ends are great. I love 'em! (: Heheheheh...

And just to give the final word on one issue, at least, neither the Power Stone nor the Scented Beads are necessary items to get any of the "good" endings. They literally just exist to give you a second chance if and when you make the wrong decision or let a ghost touch you/look at you during the remainder of the chapter. If you're totally awesome at decision-making and ghost-dodging, though... you'll never need either one of them. (:

Yeah never really served any purpose just like <span style="color:#000000; background-color:#000000;">Yuka's shoes</span>. When you find her you her you never even give it back to her. Just there to take up space and a reminder that she was there.

You know that anatomical dummy that chases you around the science lab? Yeah... that's Kizami. His Frankenstein's monster-like RAAAAAR!! is listed as one of Kizami's lines in the game's script, which is what initially tipped me off... and it totally makes sense, when you think about it, since he was dragged away by Yoshikazu and his name tag was found near the science lab.
