Path) Blow her away
You're pretty sure she'd try to kill you in the next few seconds.
So you raise the shotgun from five feet away, and fire.
Her head comes apart like a rotted musk melon with an M-80 inside it.
You turn to get out of this place, but at the doorway you stop.
In the smoke of the hallway, you see a strange figure approaching.
But before the figure comes any closer, the floor of Rachael's apartment collapses beneath you, and you plunge into the room below, which can only be described as a zombie mosh pit.
You survive for about three seconds.
Path) Try to talk to her
"Rachael..."
You toss the shotgun aside and cross to her, taking her into your arms.
The romance lasts about thirty seconds when she bites your throat out.
Path) Rachael
She shrugs. "So sleazy."
"But... I saved your life."
"Yeah, that was cool. Thanks."
You just stare.
Finally she makes a face and says, "Okay, fine, here's the real problem. Before, you were a man of power.
You were the VP of supply-chain-management.
But here, you're just like anyone else."
She pats you on your shoulder. "Hey, buck up, there are plenty of single women this place."
The thought makes you double over, barely containing the nausea.
Later that night, despondent, you leave the protected compound on foot and let the zombies kill you.
Path) Emily
Shuddering like she just saw a bug in her food, she turns and runs off.
Well that didn't go well.
You wander off to try to find Rachael, as a backup, but by the time you find her she's already met some early-twenty-something.
Over the coming weeks you seem to get some attention.
But hey, you survived those zombies.
